Waiting for my cricut expression...

Ok! I caved and bought the cricut expression from the infomercial on t.v.. I already have the small one and love it. But sometimes you need to cut something bigger than 6 inches. with this I can cut from .25 to 23.5 inches. love that it also comes with vinyl for sign making, 2 carts, tools, how to dvds, glass etching solution and the deep cut blade for cutting plastic and chipboard. Can't wait for it to get here tomorrow or Sat. I want to play with it now. lol! Also for Christmas (black friday), i will be getting scal for it. love the designs that all the wonderful people out there make. well off to you tube to see more videos and how to' s. I want to learn all the wonderful things that it can do. Later for now.

I can't believe the first thing I work on when getting back into scrapbooking is making 2 cards. lol! I guess I can't just rush in, I have slowly walk back in. lol! will post pic later. my digi cam eats batteries like crazy. Need to go and buy the expensive ones.

a new addition...

well I'm an aunt again for the 5 th time. Her name is Sabella Jade and she was born just after christmas. She is the 3 rd girl my sis has had. All her children are named with "s" names. So in order from oldest to youngest...Servando Jr. (Sonny), Sylvia (Suzie), Seth, Saida (Sadie) and the baby Sabella (Bella). They can be a had full at times, but for most of the time they never really act up around me or my mom. They are my parents absolute joy to have around. My parents never thought my sis would be the one to have kids, but let a lone 5. My sis was a slight diva. Always had to have makeup on before leaving the house and can't forget to be dressed nice too. She was quiet the singer also. Sonia could belt out any song in spanish to english and made you wish it was just you she was singing to. Then in her senior year she meet her husband and the rest is history. She now sings lullabyes to her babies and once in awhile you can get her to sing to you if you ask nicely.

Well this is first post...

for my new blog. I can't seem to log in into my other blog. So I just decided to make a new one. Hope I can keep this one from the same fate. But anyway, my New Year's Resolution is to blog more and work on more of my crafts. So far I have been working on a baby rag quilt for my new baby niece Sabella Jade and a girl monkey. both are almost done. but out of the 2 crafts, the monkey nearly did me in. lol!
